I'm not on here enough. Honestly.

I guess I just haven't been feeling very creative lately. Most of the time, my ideas for art, maybe for a story or two, or just some doodles that look nice, happen during the school year, when I'm supposed to write the idea down for later, and move along and finish work in classes, or finish my homework. I guess what I'm saying is that I haven't been having a lot of new ideas.

So. As soon as I can get some creative thoughts going again, you'll see me some more!

As a side note, do any of my photographer friends know of a good camera for someone who wants to try his hand at photography?

Recently I had the opportunity to use a friend's camera (a very expensive Nikon DSLR) for a little while, and I loved it. This camera had manual and auto-focus, as well as manual zoom built into the lens. I was happy with the way the camera functioned, not to mention how quickly it operated, and how I was able to make changes in lighting effects and color balance on the camera itself.

Since I'm trying to find a good job for someone my age (I've got some ideas, and I'm well on my way), I can't run out and just grab a top-of-the-line model. Do you guys know of a camera/lens combination that would be worth the money I could spend on it, with a smilar set of features? Also, what would be a good place to look for more info? What would be a good online store to buy from?
